Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh has been taking strides in attracting investors and businesses for several months now. And neighbouring states like Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Karnataka aren’t happy about it.

Last week, the state attracted a staggering Rs 13.25 lakh crore in total investment proposals at the two-day CII Partnership Summit 2025, giving Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu fresh bragging rights about his government’s “Speed of Doing Business” slogan.

Among the tie-ups was one between Karnataka-based Sarla Aviation and Andhra Pradesh to establish “India’s first giga-scale electric air taxi manufacturing ecosystem”, dubbed the ‘Sky Factory’.
