Phones keep ringing in Jail; 3 prisoners, one unknown booked after 8-mobile seized

Ferozepur, November 22, 2025: Intensified search operations conducted at the Central Jail from November 16 to 20 have led to the booking of three prisoners and an unidentified person following the recovery of banned items, including 8 mobile phones, one battery, four zarda sachets, and one dongle.

A case has been registered against Rajvir Singh alias Raju, Sukhjinder Pal Singh alias Shania, Jaskaran Singh alias Baggi, and an unidentified person on the complaint of the Assistant Superintendent of Central Jail under Sections 52-A and 42 of the Prisons Act. Sharma Singh has been entrusted with the investigation.
