KOCHI: The live-in partner of Yuva Morcha district secretary Gopu Paramashivan said she suffered inhumane torture from him for trivial reasons. The woman said Gopu would thrash her using a belt, a charger cable, shoes and a spatula. Last time, she faced torture for keeping his helmet on the floor instead of on the table. She said that Gopu took pleasure in hurting her every day.

'I have been living with him for five years. Except for our relatives, no one knows about our relationship. Gopu tells everyone that he is single. He has been harassing me for about five years.
