While Merseyside is expected to avoid the substantial flooding that the Met Office has predicted for other parts of the country, it is expected to be a wet start to the weekend for those making plans this Saturday morning (22 November).

According to the Met Office, current predictions suggest rain cover is set to last across the city until approximately 11 am today. As the day goes on the winter showers are set to somewhat ease, with the sun starting to make an appearance from behind the clouds after midday.
