The cricket world has gone into meltdown after Travis Head’s remarkable century in a session to complete an Ashes victory inside two days.

An innings so good, even Stuart Broad was full of praise.

Australia went 1-0 up in Perth on Saturday after a Bazball implosion set the stage for the home side to steal victory from the jaws of defeat.

The tourists were nearly 100 runs in front with nine wickets in hand at lunch on day two, having bowled Australia out short of their first innings total.

However, a mind-boggling half hour saw England lose four wickets in 19 balls to turn the match on its head.

Australia were set 205 for victory, and with Usman Khawaja unable to open with back spasms, Head answered the SOS.
