Srinagar, Nov 22: Jammu and Kashmir Police have attached movable property worth Rs 22 lakh belonging to a notorious drug trafficker, Mohd. Yousaf, from Pulwama district, as part of ongoing anti-narcotics operations in Udhampur.
According to a police statement, Yousaf, also known as Mohd. Yousaf Joo of Wuyan, Pampore, was found to own a Toyota Innova vehicle during an investigation linked to a case at Rehambal Police Station. Authorities believe the vehicle was purchased using proceeds from illegal drug trade. The property has now been attached under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act for further legal proceedings.
