The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued a yellow alert for several districts in Kerala, forecasting isolated heavy rainfall over the next five days.

November 25 (Tuesday) & November 26 (Wednesday): Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam

The IMD clarified that the yellow alert indicates the likelihood of isolated heavy rainfall, with expected precipitation ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm within 24 hours.
