THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Complaint has been received that a housewife was groped by a man who had come with a candidate to seek votes. The complaint is against Raju, who had come with the BJP candidate in the Edavilakam ward of Mangalapuram panchayat. The Mangalapuram police have registered a case in the incident.

There was no one else in the house at the time of the incident. While the candidates and others were returning after asking for votes, Raju asked the housewife for drinking water. The complaint is that Raju followed the housewife and grabbed her once she went inside to get water.

Raju ran out of the house when the housewife screamed. The housewife then filed a complaint with the police. Raju is absconding. Party members say that Raju is not a party office bearer and is just a suppor
