It's been a frustrating two-week stretch in Iowa City.

The Iowa Hawkeyes (6-4, 4-3 Big Ten) found themselves as a CFP contender, but they've dropped back-to-back heartbreakers against Oregon and USC. Now, they have the chance to take out those frustrations.

The Michigan State Spartans (3-7, 0-7 Big Ten) come to town, and they're still searching for their first Big Ten win in what has been a step back for coach Jonathan Smith in Year 2, raising questions about his future in this job.

If you are looking for some betting advice for the matchup, we've got you covered. Here are the latest odds for the game, courtesy of BetMGM.

Iowa vs. Michigan State game odds:

Iowa vs. Michigan State prediction, pick:

Iowa has been oh-so-close several times this year, but this should be a matchup that allows it to dominate. It's been a rough season offensively for the Spartans. The passing game has struggled with both Aidan Chiles and Alessio Milivojevic, and the only real positive has been a good but not great running game led by Makhi Frazier.

The Hawkeyes' defense is as good as ever, and Michigan State will likely struggle to score here. Iowa doesn't have much in the way of a passing game, either, but it runs the ball well thanks to a run-first quarterback in Mark Gronowski.

This is just a matchup in which Iowa's physicality should take over. This one won't even be close.

Prediction: Iowa 27, Michigan State 7

Best Bet: Iowa -16.5, Under 42.5
