Tributes are flooding in for James Hagan, a young man from Mullaghmatt in Monaghan town, Ireland, who died unexpectedly while travelling abroad. Hagan, who was on a solo trip in the Philippines, passed away on Sunday, November 16.
His family announced the tragic news through a death notice, stating, "Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to share the news of the young and sudden death of James Hagan Mullaghmatt, Monaghan Town whilst solo travelling overseas."
James is remembered as a beloved son, brother, and friend. He is predeceased by his infant sisters, Emily and Ailson. His family expressed their deep sorrow, saying, "James will be eternally missed by his heartbroken parents Leo and Jenny, his sister Leonia, his brothers Raymond, Luke and his niece Caitlin."
The notice also highlighted the impact James had on his community, noting that "his large circle of friends, neighbours and friends will always fondly remember James with love." The sudden loss has left many in shock, as they come to terms with the passing of a young man who touched the lives of so many.
