INDIANAPOLIS -- The seniors on this Roncalli football team were freshmen when the Royals last played a game to reach the state championship. That 2022 squad fell in overtime to East Central.

“I hugged a lot of the people I knew from grade school on up as they cried in my arms at semistate at East Central,” recalled senior defensive back Brady Tillar. “It was terrible. I hated it.”
