New Delhi, Nov 22: Air India on Saturday announced that its codeshare agreement with Star Alliance partner Air Canada will be reinstated from December 2, 2025, significantly enhancing seamless travel options between India and Canada.
The renewed partnership will enable single-ticket travel and expanded connectivity, with Air India gaining access to six Canadian destinations beyond Vancouver and London Heathrow. As part of the agreement, Air India will place its ‘AI’ code on Air Canada-operated services from Vancouver to Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montréal and Halifax, as well as on flights from London Heathrow to Vancouver and Calgary.
In return, Air Canada passengers will enjoy smooth domestic connectivity across India, with access to flights to
