Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has urged the BBC One competition to get a major shake-up with a new judging panel.

The beloved show has been hit with crises in recent months, after Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima were axed from the line-up, allegations about Wynne Evans’ behaviour and two unnamed stars from previous seasons having been arrested on suspicion of rape in separate investigations.

Amidst the scandals, host Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced that they would be stepping down in a shock statement just weeks ago.

While their replacements have yet to be confirmed, former Strictly professional dancer James has called for the judging panel to also get a refresh.
