Manheim Township ice hockey’s third-period scoring frenzy helped the Blue Streak (6-2-0) defeat Annville-Cleona (4-3-0) 7–3 on Friday night.

Manheim Township’s Keegan Nephin led the way with five goals on the night. Aidan Hubley and Cooper Moritzen scored the Blue Streaks two remaining goals.

Goalie Jackson Sizer got the victory, stopping 50 of Annville-Cleona’s 53 shots.

Annville-Cleona’s Benjamin Hirons battled with Nephin, scoring three of his own.

Hirons and Nephin combined to score the first seven goals of the game.
