Nearly 250 underage customers of a Tempe bar were arrested this week on charges that included possession of fake ID’s and intoxication, police said.
About 57 officers responded to community complaints and went to Tempe Tavern, 1810 E. Apache Blvd., at about 9:45 p.m. Nov. 20. They conducted an investigation that led to 249 arrests of underage patrons, according to a Tempe Police Department release.
Out of the 249 arrests, 246 were cited/released, and three were booked into the Tempe City Jail, police said.
Liquor law violations are under investigation, police said.
