President Donald Trump gloated over Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) sudden resignation Friday night, just one week after their public falling out.
Greene announced her resignation after Trump denounced her and withdrew his endorsement of her. The two traded blows in the following days, with Trump accusing her of disloyalty and turning a personal feud into a political one, while Greene claimed the president was only mad about her support of the bill to release documents related to Jeffrey Epstein . After Greene’s resignation, the president positioned himself as the obvious winner of the feud.
