Federal officials say the baby formula linked to 31 possible cases of infant botulism, including one in New Jersey , may still be available for sale in U.S. stores, despite a nationwide recall.

ByHeart Whole Nutrition recalled two batches of its infant formula earlier in November before expanding the recall to all of its products, which include cans and single-serve packets.

This comes after the formula was linked to an infant botulism outbreak in 15 states, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The New Jersey Department of Health has said that the known local case involved a 1-month-old infant in the northeastern part of the state.
