In today’s news there was an American World War II Veterans cemetery in the Netherlands that had two plaques removed. The plaques displayed information on the role Black American soldiers played during the war in that country. Dutch and American citizens were critical of this occurrence, especially since it was the American government that forced it to happen Apparently, it is all part of President Trump’s goal to eliminate anything that may be DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion).
