CONCORD, N.H. —
A New Hampshire fire chief who was arrested on a DUI charge has entered a no contest plea to the charge, according to court documents.
Derry Fire Chief Shawn Haggart was arrested on Oct. 18 in Bow for driving under the influence.
According to court documents, Haggart entered no contest to a DWI first offense.
Haggart was fined $500 and his privilege to drive was revoked for nine months, according to court documents. He also has a $120 penalty assessment, and the state will also withdraw the administrative license suspension, according to court documents.

Haggart was also referred to an impaired driver care management program, according to court documents.
