MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Developers had plans to tear down the now-closed Steeplegate Mall and create a mixed-use development.
That would include: a new Costco, Whole Foods and 625 apartment units.
Now, it appears those plans may not be so certain, as the developers are looking to lease retail space inside the mall.
Andrew Pinard, the founder of Hatbox Theater, said their final season was cut eight months short with the theater’s final curtain call in January of last year.

He told News 9 the development project has been a “disappointment” for his volunteer-based theater.
