SRINAGAR : A labourer sustained injuries inside the Z-Morh Tunnel in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday after being struck by a moving vehicle during routine cleaning work. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Officials said that the incident occurred when a labourer identified as Irfan Ahmad Raina, son of Ghulam Rasool and a native of Gagangeer, was engaged in maintenance activities inside the under-construction tunnel. During the process, a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK03K-5847 entered the stretch and hit the worker, resulting in injuries.

The labourer was immediately evacuated from the spot by co-workers and tunnel staff. He was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that he is undergoing medical care,
