Dhanush is gearing up for Aanand L. Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein, co-starring Kriti Sanon.

Tamil star Dhanush recently attended the Dubai Watch Week, and being a superstar, everyone expected him to name an expensive brand when asked which piece inspired his love for watches. But Dhanush’s answer left everyone surprised, as he named a watch costing less than $1 as the one that inspired his love for the accessory.

Answering a question about the first watch he fell in love with, Dhanush shared, “The first watch I fell in love with was a watch my mom got me when I was in school. It’s less than a dollar, no name on it, it’s plastic, it’s digital and will show just the time. There is a light, and when it runs out of battery, you have a tiny battery behind it."
