HILLIARD, Fla. — Nassau County firefighters are currently battling a wildfire in Hilliard.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the four-acre fire is in the area of US-1 and Murrhee Road. As of 3:00 p.m., it is 90% contained.
FHP and Nassau County Fire Rescue is asking drivers to use caution if traveling in the area, as visibility could deteriorate quickly due to the smoke and fog.
Officials are also reminding drivers to use low-beam headlights.
