A former Morgan County corrections officer has been charged with felony sexual contact with an inmate, according to court documents.

Ashley Nicole Jacobson, a former employee of the Morgan County Adult Detention Center, faces one felony count after allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with an inmate between June 1 and Sept. 20, 2025, according to a probable cause statement.

Court documents allege that the conduct took place while Jacobson was on duty at the jail.

The probable cause statement alleges another inmate reported Jacobson had an ongoing sexual relationship with a detainee, saying the pair would avoid the prison cameras but were seen kissing in a corner of the cellblock.
