Paul Collicutt’s Bishop’s Cleeve side returned to winning ways with a convincing 6-1 home victory over Brixham on Saturday, though the manager insisted “we know we can still be better than that.”
The sides went into half-time level at 1-1, with Toby Holland opening the scoring from the spot for the Mitres before Charlie Johansen equalised.
Collicutt made it clear he wasn’t impressed with the opening 45 minutes.
“I wasn’t very happy at half-time. We had a few words to say among ourselves,” he admitted.
But the Mitres responded superbly after the break, with Ben McLean, Ross Langworthy, Curtis Jemmett-Hutson and Josh Nelmes all finding the net, along with a Ryan Beattie own goal, as Cleeve ran away with the game.
