To help students prepare for life after high school and explore one of our school’s career pathways, students participated in a Manufacturing Tour Day on Oct. 22.

During the event, they visited four local businesses: Clow Stamping Company, Waste Partners Inc., Scamp Trailers and Halverson Wood Products, Inc.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to see machines in action and learn how these industries contribute to our community.

They also heard firsthand from employees about their career paths, the training required to succeed in manufacturing, and the variety of jobs and pay ranges available in our area.

This field trip was made possible by the Pine River Chamber of Commerce, whose support helps provide students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences.
