Adam Sandler’s love life flatlined while next to George Clooney.

The “Happy Gilmore” actor , 59, revealed that when he first became pals with the then-star of “ER,” 64, he felt the full force of Clooney’s fame.

Sandler met the ’90s heartthrob on “Saturday Night Live” in 1995. Shortly after, the friends went to an NBA game.

“It was at the height of ‘ER,’ and I went to a Knicks game with George,” the comedian said in an interview with The New York Times . “I remember feeling as invisible as I’ve ever felt. I thought I was becoming a star, and I was like, ‘Oh, not a soul’s looking at me.'”

Sandler continued: “Every woman in the place was looking at him, every guy’s going, ‘Man, I wish I was that guy.'”
