The Penticton Vees burst out of the gates with three first-period goals and never looked back, skating to a 4–2 win over the visiting Vancouver Giants. The victory lifts Penticton to 11-7-3-2 on the season and keeps them third in the Western Conference.
Brady Birnie opened the scoring just 31 seconds in, finishing a drop pass from Callum Stone with a short-side glove shot. Less than three minutes later, Diego Johnson struck on a breakaway for his ninth of the year, a goal that also marked Sean Burick’s first WHL point and forced the Giants to pull starter Burke Hood.
Jacob Kvasnicka added to the lead before the intermission, slicing through the neutral zone and lifting a backhand home for his 10th of the season, sending the Vees into the break up 3–0.
