COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s regular season is officially over, and what a time it had.

The Buckeyes opened up the year at home, celebrating a national title, taking down the nation’s No. 1 team, and playing a style of offense that made you look at them sideways. Then they closed things out at home with yet another convincing win, while playing a style of offense that made you look at them sideways.

All 11 games turned into a 60-minute showcase of a team so much better than their opponents that they could spend the game tinkering while just trying to get to the finish line. They could do that while knowing they were never in any real danger.
