Electric Mason (17-2) was the highlight of a superb day for trainer Chris Gordon and his jockey son Freddie as he brought up a superb 462-1 treble with victory in the Betfair Stayers' Handicap Hurdle at Haydock Park on Saturday.
The six-year-old, under 20-year-old rider Freddie Gordon, held off the late challenge of Hartington (5-1), under champion jockey Sean Bowen, to land the extended three-mile contest at Haydock by a neck.
