Aaron Paul and his wife, Lauren, have left Los Angeles for Paris following the devastating wildfires that ravaged swaths of the city.

“When the fires happened in LA, we just knew that we were done with LA, so we sold our house in LA and moved to Paris,” the “Breaking Bad” alum told the Daily Mail at an F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix event on Friday.

“Paris is awesome,” he told the outlet. Aaron, 46, noted that he can only say a few things in French, including “bonjour.”

“We went out there for the kiddos,” Aaron said, referencing kids Story Annabelle , 7, and Ryden Caspian , 3. The actor added that he and Lauren, 38, have “always dreamt of doing a year abroad.”

“We just always wanted to be around a completely different culture,” the actor said.
