“Wicked: For Good,” flew its broomstick into first place on its box office debut on Friday, earning $68.68 million, according to The Numbers .

The sequel to last year’s “Wicked” was “an emotional and elongated version of the Broadway musical’s second act,” The Post said .

“It’s been such an incredible ride and an incredible experience to create with people we love so much and respect so much creatively, but also who just have such great hearts,” Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda, told E! News at the film’s NYC premiere at Lincoln Center on Monday.
