LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - No.20 Kentucky went into a hostile environment and came out on top in the latest Battle of the Bluegrass, beating No.21 Louisville 72-62 behind a big second half performance.
This is the first back-to-back wins against Louisville for the first time since 2014-15 and 2015-16.
It was a balanced attack from the Wildcats. Tonie Morgan led the way with 19 points and 7 assists on 8-16 shooting. Teonni Key followed with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Clara Strack also had 17 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. That’s Strack’s 6th double-double of the year.
