LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - FCPS has a busy agenda set for Monday.
But some people have raised concerns for parents and public school advocates.
The board is set to vote on proposed revisions to their Governance Manual.
One of those proposed changes reads in part, “Board meetings and the business of the Board shall continue uninterrupted as long as a quorum of the Board is present or unless an emergency situation arises or a motion to recess is adopted.”
FCPS parent Matthew Vied says he’s worried board members, and the Superintendent, would be able to leave during public comment. It’s something he’s experienced before.
