On Saturday at 11:06 a.m. an updated special weather statement was issued by the National Weather Service until 12:15 p.m. for Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon.

"Patchy dense fog with visibility as low as one-quarter mile is expected to persist through morning. Expect rapid reductions in visibility over short distances, slow down and allow extra distance between other vehicles on the road," states the weather service.
