Creighton volleyball will play in the Big East championship match after taking down Marquette on Saturday.
Ava Martin led the Bluejays in set 1 with eight kills in 12 swings.
Kiara Reinhardt, who is a Wisconsin native, claimed set point with a block. The Jays won the first set 25-19.
Set two went into extra points.
Martin tallied 11 kills, while Annalea Maeder notched 20 assists. Sydney Breissinger also helped to get the Jays to the 28-26 set victory with seven digs.
In set 3, the teams were tied at 15 apiece just before Creighton went on a 5-0 run.
The Golden Eagles came back to tie things back up at 23 apiece.
Abbey Hayes' block notched set point, and then Maeder and Nora Wurtz teamed up for a block to claim the 25-23 set victory and to claim the sweep.
