The Patriots elevated defensive tackle Jeremiah Pharms Jr. from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

With star defensive tackle Milton Williams placed on IR with a high ankle sprain, the Pharms’ move provides some depth on the defensive front.

Williams, who has been a standout, will miss the next four games.

Pharms, a former USFL star, has been with the Patriots the past four seasons.

He as released prior to Week 1, but signed to the practice squad.

He’s been a semi-regular over the past two seasons, with 42 tackles and two sacks.

Along with Pharms, the Patriots have Christian Barmore, Khyiris Tonga, Cory Durden, Joshua Farmer and Eric Gregory on the roster at defensive tackle.
