If there was any added pressure for the Bethesda Academy football team as the Blazers faced Pee Dee Academy in the SCISA Class 2A state title game Saturday at South Carolina State, Jordan Turner and Ralo Wesley wasted no time putting any concerns about the outcome to rest.
On Bethesda's second offensive play, coach Antwain Turner dialed up a formula that has paid dividends all season long. His son, Jordan Turner, took the snap and got the ball quickly in the left flat to Ralo Wesley — and the speedy senior slipped a tackle and was gone down the left sideline for a touchdown that set the tone for a Bethesda blowout.
