The third round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association high school football playoffs was the halfway mark of the postseason. There are only three more weeks left in the 2025 North Carolina high school football season.

Western North Carolina has only five teams remaining in the NCHSAA playoffs: Brevard, Pisgah, Murphy, Mitchell and Robbinsville, after Franklin and Mountain Heritage fell this week.
