MIDDLETON, Wis. (WKOW) — Downtown Middleton came alive on Saturday, with the expanded Holiday Makers Market and Light the Green celebration.
Residents gathered at Stone Horse Green to enjoy local art, treats, and festive activities. Local artist Charles Myers showcased his creations, including serving trays, coasters, and shot glasses made from semi-precious stones.
"I'm enjoying the holiday market and talking to people," Myers said.
He emphasized the importance of supporting local makers.
"It's not just about supporting artists. It's about supporting the industries that we support," Myers said.
Myers noted the positive community reception.
"I got a lot of responses… so I started doing that, and then people started asking for serving trays with rocks," Myers said.
