SARATOGA SPRINGS- Standing tall and hardbound-wrapped with rich green cloth, a new book co-published by the Tang Teaching Museum celebrates Tibetan visual culture and spotlights some of the museum’s exhibitions and projects staged in the local community in recent years.
“Forms of Awakening” features 320 pages, many illustrated beautifully. To paraphrase the book’s foreword, these are other ways of seeing the world — forms of awakening from dreamlike illusions and the mirage of ordinary perception.
