EUGENE — Oregon’s injury-ravaged receiving corps was briefly down another weapon early against USC.
Jeremiah McClellan suffered an apparent left shoulder injury while being tackled on a 20-yard catch in the first quarter of Saturday’s game at Autzen Stadium.
McClellan went to the sideline and eventually left for the locker room favoring his shoulder with multiple members of the athletic training staff joining him.
No. 7 Oregon (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) entered the game with four healthy scholarship receivers.
McClellan returned to the UO sideline before the end of the first quarter and made a 23-yard catch in the second quarter.
