Lost River is headed to the Class 2A football state championship game after a second-quarter run of scoring led the Raiders to a 33-13 victory over Bandon on Saturday afternoon at Grants Pass High School.

This will be the Raiders’ first trip to the 2A finals after winning back-to-back Class 1A state titles in 2022 and 2023.

The Tigers were the first team on the scoreboard, as Reggie Turner scored on a 74-yard run with two minutes left in the first quarter.

But after that, it was all Lost River. Drew McDonald caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Diaz to get the Raiders on the board just over a minute into the second quarter.
