LSU wide receiver Aaron Anderson will not play on Saturday against Western Kentucky .
Anderson, a redshirt junior, was dressed in sweats during pregame warm-ups. Last year, he caught 61 passes for 884 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Tigers in receiving, but this season, he has only 33 catches for 398 yards. He’s battled various injuries throughout the year.
Entering the game against the Hilltoppers, LSU’s top receiver is Kentucky transfer Barion Brown. He has 44 receptions for 449 yards and a touchdown.
Anderson is a native of Algiers and a former Edna Karr star who played his true freshman season at Alabama. He has one more year of eligibility.
