EUGENE - One victory stands between No. 7 Oregon and an assured berth in the College Football Playoff.
The Ducks defeated No. 15 USC 42-27 on Saturday in front of 59,588 at Autzen Stadium, putting forth arguably their most complete offensive performance, considering the opponent.
No. 7 Oregon (10-1, 7-1 Big Ten) can lock up a playoff spot, likely at home, with a win next week at Washington (7-3, 4-3). The Ducks also remained in the hunt for a Big Ten championship game berth.
Oregon finishes the 2025 regular season next Saturday at Washington.
No. 15 USC (8-3, 6-2) had no sustainable answers for Oregon’s offense, which amassed 179 rushing yards and 257 yards through the air.
Quarterback Dante Moore went 22 of 30 for 257 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.
