The Delhi government has launched a new program to tackle pollution in the city. They plan to distribute 10,000 electric heaters to Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and security personnel working through the winter.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced this initiative, starting with the first distribution in Pitampura. The aim is to help security guards keep warm without having to burn wood or coal, which creates smoke and worsens air quality.
