Kentucky’s momentum from a three-game win streak vanished in a 45–17 loss at No. 14 Vanderbilt on Saturday in Nashville.

Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia threw for a career-high 484 yards and five touchdowns, adding 48 rushing yards and another score as the Commodores rolled.

Kentucky got little help from its offense. Cutter Boley was 26 of 44 (59%) for 280 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He briefly exited the game in the second quarter after taking a hit, but returned following a medical-tent evaluation

The Wildcats’ ground game was nearly non-existent: they rushed 19 times for just 31 yards, an average of 1.6 per carry.

Kentucky (5-6, 2-6 SEC) must beat Louisville on Nov. 29 in its regular-season finale to reach six wins and become bowl-eligible.
