Ocala’s biggest holiday event is finally here, and it once again painted the town with color and light!

“Light Up Ocala” is the biggest event of the year, as thousands of people flock to the city, hoping for some holiday cheer.

The event is now in its 41st year, and this time, it was bigger and better than ever. With over 30-thousand people roaming the streets of downtown Ocala, there was fun and fantasy on every street corner.

The day started with the Junior Sunshine Parade, where the kiddos in town had their moment in the spotlight.

After the parade, several folks made their way to Citizens Circle, to enjoy live music and dance from local performers.
