Black Doves has added seven new cast members as it enters production on season 2. The show stars Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw, and Sarah Lancashire.

Ambika Mod joins as Laila, "an acerbic and anarchic Black Doves agent sent to help Helen (Knightley) on a mission." Babou Ceesay joins as Mr. Conteh, "a Black Doves executive with suspicious motivations." Sam Riley joins as Patrick, "an emissary from a mysterious organization who offers Sam (Whisaw) a lifeline."

The other additions have character names, but no character descriptions. Neve Campbell will play Cecile Mason; Sylvia Hoeks will play Katia Chernov; Goran Kostic will play Alexi Chernov; Samuel Barnett will play Jerry.
