LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - LANSING — A record-breaking 2.6 million Michiganders are planning to travel for Thanksgiving this year, according to AAA, but weather conditions could impact holiday plans even for those not directly in storm paths.
Weather disruptions can affect travel far beyond local conditions, creating ripple effects across all types of transportation.
“The weather can easily disrupt travel, even if you don’t have a storm system in your area. It can easily cause a ripple effect of flight delays and cancellations that unfortunately can also affect you, even if you’re not in the path of the storm,” said Adrienne Woodland with AAA Auto Club Group.
